…and I’m proud 7th-generation Texan, born and raised in Dallas, Texas.

Musical Beginnings

Growing up, I was painfully shy, but my dad insisted we learn piano. Thank goodness he did, even if singing in front of others felt like a nightmare back then. I wrote a few songs here and there on the piano, but they were mostly for my ears only.

New Horizons

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I dreamed of living on the East Coast—so I moved to Maine and started a marketing career.

In September 2020, I sold everything and hit the road, exploring the country and rediscovering my love for music. It was during this journey that I fell head over heels for places like the solitude of Far West Texas and the rugged beauty of Arizona. The modern-day outlaw vibe out West has certainly influenced my style (see bandanas 🏜️).

Nashville

In 2021, while traveling the country, I ended up in Nashville on a whim. There, I met Caleb Sherman and recorded “I See Us.” That was the moment everything changed for me. Music became something I couldn’t live without.

Fast forward to April 2023, I took a leap and performed at a sold-out open mic at Fox & Locke in Leipers Fork, TN. Talk about nerve-wracking! Since then, I’ve been performing in Nashville weekly.

Musical Influences & Styles

My Texan roots run deep, with '90s country as the soundtrack of my childhood—twirling to Shania Twain on a Saturday morning was more common than watching cartoons.

My musical influences are a mixed bag—the soulful sounds of Amy Winehouse and Nina Simone, and the gritty voices of Waylon Jennings and Colter Wall. I love blending styles, from soulful ballads to honky-tonk boot-stompers.

Projects & Goals

Right now, I'm working on releasing a few singles that I'm really excited about. My goals for 2024 are to tour, master the acoustic guitar, keep strengthening my voice, and grow my fanbase. If I've learned anything, it’s that anything is possible if you take the leap.
